"Lázerick (La-Zare-Rick)" I spin House music I got the DJ bug in 1979 when I heard a remix of Devo's Whip It by Dave Davidson on the Herb Kent punkout show, hailing from the Windy City, I began spinning in 1981, Learned and practiced with the famed Byron Burke (Of Ten City), then got the full emotional effect while clubbin' at various clubs in the chicago area. I stepped away from the decks for ten years until in 2005 was recruted by DJ Johnny Blaze to play Hip Hop on the internet radio station WarriorFM but opted to play House Music because it was my first love. Became a mainstay on Sunday night and developed a huge following. Also in 2005 I joined internet radio station FaderwaveRadio where I developed a following on a monday night "House Grooves" show. In 2007 internet DJ information site djforums.com of which it's members, consists of DJ's from all over the world began a contest to find their House Music Champion and I, Lazerick, won that contest and became the djforums.com 2007 House Music Champion. In 2008 I joined internet radio station Worldofdjs.net, where I have extended my "House Grooves" show, I also enterd the musicV2.com House Music Championship contest where I took 2nd place. In 2009 joined The League DJs where I continued my "House Grooves" show In 2010 joined Next Cut Entertainment where I have extended my "House Grooves" show I have played at Chicago's Zentra NightClub, Vision NightClub, The Chromium Nightclub, the Ola Lounge, and Kat's Cafe Atlanta Ga. I have a weekly residency with internet radio stations Faderwave.net and NextCutEnt.com
