Something You Should Know About Me
I grew up listening to old skool rave/club music that was belting out through my brothers bedroom walls. Living in Manchester and growing up with the 'Madchester' scene going on around me, I hated how I was not actually old enough to go to places like the famous Haçienda nightclub.
Listening to music was all i did until I started working at a club at the age of 17. Before the club opened each night I used to slap my own CD's into the sound system to listen to while stocking the bars. My CD's used to go missing from time to time and then I started to notice tracks from them being played out during the night by the resident DJ's. This inspired me to start doing something about playing my own music out, rather then fat old DJ's taking credit!
Over the past 2 years I've been lucky to be around some extremely skilled DJs and pick up great techniques. I've mixed at large house parties, boat parties, on the radio and recently in a club in Turkey. Although my main focus is not to mix but more develop the House of Dance network, I still enjoy pushing my DJing skills further and further.
