M.E.G. formed their band in Miami Beach, FL in 2002. In the fall of 2006 they decided to rent a house for two months to check out Nashville, TN. In their time spent there, they fell in love with the musicians, the people, the music venues, and the lifestyle that Nashville had to offer. With all the said, they thought the best thing and only thing they could do was pack their bags and move to Music City. All of them, Sam (vocals and rhythm guitar), Laz (lead guitar and back-up vocals), Nik (bass), Kris (drums and percussion), lived together in a house which has now been transformed into their studio, M.E.G. Productions, in East Nashville. Currently, they are working on their fourth album as well as writing and producing for other artists. In the Summer of 2007 they created and were a part of the a documentary entitled, A Nashville State of Mind:myspace.com/nashvilledocumentary. The documentary's inspirations came from the musicians and artists they met when they first arrived in Nashville. As they were working on their music and becoming part of the scene, they felt a need to show the kinds of musicians and the different kinds of music emerging from Nashville. Our Studio M.E.G.
