Journal 45:Perfection can never be reached so you will never fulfill it, so stop trying.People in all shapes and sizes are being raised in a new society that revolves around fake beauty. We have been brought up in a society where imperfection is inhumane and small defaults are considered grotesque and hideous to look at. We as a unity of the world need to mature and look at ourselves at another perspective, not at what fashionistas say is beautiful. As a result of the "fashonistas", we've created an artificial model of what beauty "should be", that has nothing to do with reality. Everyone in this world is beautiful in their own way(except Joe, he's just hideous) and I'm not just saying that because your mom tells you that, I'm saying that because its true. We tan our skin using artificial light, we starve to lose weight to look more like emaciated cover girls and have cosmetic surgery on everything from toes to noses,all in the name of beauty. If you consider beautiful having fake breasts, colored hair, and shit loads of makeup than that's not called beautiful, that's called being fake. Beauty is considered a gift from god, not to be violated in anyways. Beauty is about being your unique self and not being afraid to preserve your own integrity, not prancing around like a slut with a cigarette in your mouth thinking to your self that your beautiful. To me your just another thrashy whore on the street. Do not avert to making fun of others to make yourself seem prettier because your just making yourself look disgusting. People need to be confident about themselves, don't let some small parameter of what you should be define you. Run around in the rain, yell at the sky, come to school with no makeup. Just be you, not what others say. </u> |
