Castner was the host of the Nightside Project. The show originated from Salt Lake City, Utah. Michael was heard weeknights on KSL News Radio, KTAR in Phoenix, KIRO in Seattle and Talk Radio 3WT in Washington DC.
Radio and Records said of his #1 rated show..."a irreverent, yet insightful news and lifestyle show". NSP hit number one in the rating book less than a year after launching and was number one when he in left in November of 2007.
Michael's career has spanned the spectrum of news, entertainment and politics. He came to Nightside from KFI, the number one news/talk radio station in Los Angeles. Prior to that Michael was a host on the E! Channel. During his 14 years at E! Michael covered the red carpet and hosted his own talk show. Michael joined E! after a stint as London bureau chief for Entertainment Tonight. He covered the White House and State Department for Tribune Broadcasting and then went on to serve as press advisor to then congressional candidate Joseph P. Kennedy II.
He was once in the Hollywood Christmas Parade with Mario Lopez and Screech from Saved by the Bell. Don't ask.
