| Poetry In Life I See... For the Love of My Child... Today i face another day for a brand new start, within my blankets i awake. As i open my eyes, there is nothing but a white cloud that covers my face. I fear each day for what it may come next, but still I insist that today shall be a better day. I face fears within myself of what it may be, and of what it shall be. Be strong my child I say, as I stare at my child's face. Be strong, I say. For today, is your day and mother will keep you safe. For the love that I carry, carry you upon my chest with all that you may face today and tomorrow will be another day. I shall be the one who will be there to keep you warm, for you shall be my savior and I shall be yours. |
