Raised in NJ. *Can speak Japanese, can read to a very limited extent (kanji is not my strength lol), cannot write well. *Currently Sophomore @ NYU/Steinhardt: Studio Art Major. *My Art interests: everything basically. (fine to graphic) *No, I don't really draw anime... *No, I won't go to private or go to msn, skype, yahoo, etc. *No, I won't stand up. I'm mad lazy lol Alright, here's a blurb on me. I am feeling a little less lazy. I usually half ass this intro part. So here goes: In a world that demands you to be someone "kool" or be a certain way, life becomes a bit more difficult and stressing. Stereotypes and expectations run wild. "Asian, you must be awesome at math..." Seriously guys, I suck at math. The farthest I can really comprehend to in like algebra. And yes, I prefer other things over rice like pasta and potatoes. Plain rice is not for me. The most annoying are the assumptions. "So... how long have you been in America for?" or "" And even beyond the specific bias, I tend to encounter the "Let's guess the country" game. "Are ya Chinese?" "How about Korean?" "Damn, then Indian or Filipino?" In honesty, I don't understand why the attempt is made, might as well have asked instead and save yourself the embarrassment. Now another type of embarrassment you can save yourself from: Sorry guys, I'm not the type that feels like she needs to prove to herself that she might actually look hott or good to some random strangers by getting on cam and exposing herself or being a tease. And yeah, I also don't believe I need to be in my underwear when I take pictures. Unless its artful, nudity is just slutty... Okay One More Thing! I like talking! I like discussions. If you can be artful in your language or you have the ability to make a conversation exceed the "just chillin" reply, please come in and share your talent. Art is my forte; art needs aesthetic qualities as well as philosophical and conceptual brilliance. Music is a necessity equally. Writing is a way of expression and rant. Sharing passions is encouraged. So come in a share, always welcomed. Despite my lack of free time (that I actually use productively) recommendations for movies and books are great. Great to talk about and great to know. The reason for writing out this shit: Honest truth. I'm tired haha. Tired of lurkers, tired of random strangers coming in and knowing close to nothing of what words like decency or creativity means. Absolutely boring. So spare me the time and effort and just don't come in if all you are going to do is demand me of things or make me uncomfortable. Go to a girl with pictures of herself in barely any clothes... they will most likely welcome you than I ever would kare to. |
