Think about your life. Think about all those times you could have. All of those times you could laugh about. Think about the time you lost it because of the right way. Those times you wanted to laugh. Those times you didn't mean to cry. The life the people around you possessed, so it seemed. The Yearn and the need. It's all gone now. You fucked up. You will now never live the life you imagined. You will never be able to dream like that again. No, your path has crossed over the same place over and over again, like a never ending lethargic cycle. You can't beat a new one down, your land for free roaming has diminished to a one track span. That span will posses and taunt you for the rest of your fixed life. Was living ever supposed to be easy? That current they always told you to take, the one that would flow you to your so called prepared "meaning." Oh, you took it. You looked down upon the struggling, the ones swimming against the flow. But look at them now. You wish more than anything to be with them. To know, feel and embrace their aura. Their independence. Their wisdom of pain, of grief! Yet, they smile at you with a warmth you never knew your whole life. Their life smiles, and beckons you with a yearning you've never felt. You look at yourself, at your simple solitude. Your two car garage and your wife and two kids. Your pathetic, cubicle sized job. Your habit of going out with the slut you call your secretary while your wife sits at home and drinks the knowing away. You see your kids watch you and your wife fight, and the bruises you leave on her, and how she tells her friends that it's from a slip. You remember begging your doctor for uppers, just so you can feel happy again. Then, you look back, And you regret it... ..
