Ok so here is an explanation of what Team Demon is all about.. brought to you by by my awesome friend Creepsomber:
Be Skeptical, be rational, and question all things. Don't allow the status quo to supersede your own critical thought! This is the essence (BAM!) of Team Demon. It's not a gang, elitist group, or exclusive club. Team Demon is rallying for those who won't allow BLIND faith to substitute rational inquiry. The best part is, anyone can fly this flag! It's for everyone who values their personal freedom to chose their own destiny. It's hard to believe in a society that pays the media millions of dollars to be informed of such news worthy events as Britney Spears shaving her head or crashing her car. That flying the flag of personal freedom and independent thought is such a bad thing. There are no dues, no fees, no tithe... no asses to kiss, no one to impress... no fame to be won or lost, no status quo to be met. This might be the easiest club in world to join. In fact, many of you are members-- AND DON'T EVEN KNOW IT!!!! Team Demon is for you-- and it's free to join. A "group-think" mentality??? Hardly. Team Demon has always existed-- in the hearts and minds of those who value personal freedom more than they valued the acceptance of their "peers". It's the spirit of personal independence. Some might say, "Why bother? Do I really need a symbol to identify with?" OF COURSE YOU DON'T (silly billy). See? I told you it was the easiest in the world to join! It's hard to miss with Team Demon. Unless you have an affinity for being told how to live. Team Demon is simply a way to identify with like-minded individuals. Not such a bad thing in a world where everyone waddles and quacks to the same tune!
1. We are Team Demon. We are the spirit of intellectual and existential independence and freedom--from political, social, and religious coersion and oppression.
2. There are no "special" qualifications for joining Team Demon.
3. We are NOT a new kind of gang, pwnage crew, or "fight club".
4. We are NOT affiliated with ANY religion, or particular political party.
4. Members are expected to conduct themselves in a mature, intelligent, and honorable fashion.
5. If you wear the tag, do so with pride and honor--we are here for friendly debate, and to learn from each other.
6. If you dis-honor the tag by acting in a foolish, immature, and otherwise idiotic fashion, you will be effectively "de facto" stripped of your tag, and we WILL make sure everyone will know why. You've been warned.
7. Heated debate is going to happen--we aren't always going to agree, and while it can get brutal, members will endeavor to always conduct themselves in as courteous a manner as possible.
8. This is the exception to #7. Racists, bigots, homophobes, trolls, and other volatile individuals will be dealt with in a manner befitting them. No mercy will be shown!!!
