POUNDERS are three best friends, Chris, Justin and Alonso coming together to create a sound that is honest, raw and true. The music has deep meanings and tells stories of real life situations. The band started in San Jose, CA. Chris performed in "Stomp Out Loud" at the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Justin plays music as an independent drummer and performs with the Street Drum Corps, BANG! and various other groups. Alonso is also an independent bass player and has performed with Shadow Beat Ritual, Currency .357 and many more. POUNDERS is a rare band that will never part. They continue to write music and perform on various tours such as the Vans Warped Tour and Projekt Revolution. New music is always being written everyday. POUNDERS music is too precious to rush, it takes living and learning to complete the documentation of growing, heartbreak, change, and discovery that the band shares and puts into the music. POUNDERS is no boy-band, nor pop group, its an escape, a story about three friends following their dreams and they invite you to join them. .
