2. Today popular download website TorrentSpy has announced the they will appeal yesterday's $111 Million dollar ruling against them. Since TorrentSpy has disclaimers about illegal downloads should the website be fined for “encouraging copyright infringement?” TorrentSpy recently declared bankruptcy before the judgment, making the dollar amount meaningless, do you think this is just a publicity stunt from the MPAA?
3. Yesterday EA announced that their upcoming games Spore and Mass Effect for the PC will require gamers to authinticate their product keys every ten days to keep down piracy. How do you feel that you’re going to have to re-authenticate your game every ten days for the rest of your life? Do you think this plan will actually work, and Will you buy less EA products if this trend continues?
