I am the lead singer of the band M.E.G. We formed our band in Miami Beach, FL in 2002. In the fall of 2006 we decided to rent a house for two months to check out Nashville, TN. In our time spent there, we fell in love with the musicians, the people, the music venues, and the lifestyle that Nashville had to offer. With all the said, we thought the best thing and only thing we could do was pack our bags and move to Music City. All of us, Sam (vocals and rhythm guitar), Laz (lead guitar and back-up vocals), Nik (bass), Kris (drums and percussion), lived together in a house which has now been transformed into our studio, M.E.G. Productions, in East Nashville. Currently, we are working on our fourth album as well as writing for other artists. In the Summer of 2007 we filmed a documentary entitled, A Nashville State of Mind:myspace.com/nashvilledocumentary. The documentary's inspirations came from the musicians and artists we met when we first arrived in Nashville. As we we were working on our music and becoming part of the scene, we felt a need to show the kinds of musicians and the different kinds of music emerging from Nashville.
