Something You Should Know About Me
Welcome to Shirtless YouTube Chat, or SYTC. Founded on 10/19/06, in the wee hours of the morning, by Kytt in all his hairy-chested glory.
SYTC favors those of a shirtless persuasion over those shackled by the oppressive garments of our predecessors.
Feel free to join our free-spirited, bare-chested ways, be you of the female or male persuasion. Be warned, though, that should you enter our place of peaceful, shirtless tranquility, you will be asked to remove your symbols of slavery. Should you not oblige, you will be removed by force.
It seems that, because of certain people getting the wrong ideas, a set of rules must now be defined. Personally, I'm against this, but if people can't be good on their own merit, then I must set down the law.
Rules:
1. If you are taking up a cam spot and your cam is off, you may only keep that cam spot if you are keeping up in non-assholish conversation, and only if no one else wants that cam spot. Failure to follow this rule will get you kicked repeatedly, until the rule is observed.
2. For men and women both, as far as we're concerned, a shirt is defined as anything covering your upper torso. Don't be shy, don't be bashful, just be free. HOWEVER! For women, the rules are a little trickier. Anyone of the female persuasion is allowed to wear a bra while on camera, and if you choose not to, the camera is not allowed to go anywhere that we could not see on TV. If it stops just an inch above your nipple, you're good, but if we see nipple we're going to have to ask you to give up your cam spot or kick you, no matter how unpopular we may become among our hornier male regulars. Tough cookies, boys.
3. If you are a regular of 4chan, 7chan, Something Awful, YTMND, or any of those breeding grounds for assholish behavior over the internet- you are not welcome if you're going to bring your stupid shit into out chat room. We're about having fun, and you will be banned with little, if any, warning if whomever hosting catches you being a jerk to anyone.
4. An addition to rule #2, but directed mainly at men- you will not, I repeat, WILL NOT ask, plead, or demand that any woman shows you their breasts or nether regions. If I see it, you'll be banned. It's disrespectful, and it's just plain disgusting.
5. If you are using a cam slot, and have your cam on, you must have the camera angled so that we can see that you are shirtless. The point of the chatroom is to make everyone comfortable, and one person getting to hide isn't fair when everyone else is asked to be open about their chests on camera. Shoulders alone are fine. If I can only see the top half of your head, or only your head, you will be asked to change the position of your camera. If you do not, you will be kicked until the rule is observed.
6. Private messaging is not your own personal way to ask a woman to show you her breasts. Sexual harrassment is still sexual harrassment over PMs. It is not something we endorse, and we will find out, and you will be banned.
7. Finally, and most importantly- if you are in the chat, using a cam, your shirt must be off. See rule #2 for our definition of a shirt. I know that it's been said countless times, but still people come in and dick around and keep shirts on, and then when we ask them to remove their shirts they get pissed off and fight it or leave.
I didn't want to have to make rules like that, but people seem to have alot more stupidity in them than I imagined. Here's to my ideals that people on Stickam could be mature adults, may they rest in peace.
