Click “Sign Up” at the top of the page. Please provide us with your desired username, a valid email address, and your date of birth. You must be at least 14 years of age or older to sign up for Stickam.com. We will send a confirmation message to your email. Please click on the activation link in this email to activate your account.

4. I want my friends to check me out when I'm live. Would I be able to add my Stickam player to my personal website and/or blog?

You can add your player to any of your personal sites by grabbing your player's embed code from the "My Stickam Player" page.

8. How do I search users?

The search bar is located in the menu. Enter the user name in the field and click the magnifying glass icon. You will be redirected to Advanced Search. Here you will have many more options to search for users by location, by status (live, on-line, or off-line) and by whether or not they have any recorded videos posted.

1. How do I Go Live?
A
Going live is easy. Simply click the “Go Live” button at the top right of the navigation bar on any Stickam page to open your personal video chat room. You may need to adjust your settings so that Stickam can access your camera and microphone. To select your settings, click on the “Settings” on the top left corner of your Host Chat window after you have clicked Go Live. For more information check here.

2. Are there rules and restrictions on streaming videos and music and/or broadcasting live?

Yes, there are strict restrictions on the material you stream. Please read our Terms of Service for details.

3. How do I know when someone is watching me?
A
If a visitor is viewing your web cam, you will see the number of viewers to the right of the yellow "lurker" icon above the list of people in your host chat. If the visitor has entered chat mode, you will see the name of the person on the right-hand side of the chat box.

4. How many people can I chat with at the same time on my Stickam player?
A
There is no limit to the number of people you can chat with in a Stickam live room; however, you are limited to 6 guest video spots in your host chat.

5. What is the difference between "live" and "online"?

When you are logged into your account, you are considered "Online". You are considered "Live" when you start your host chat by hitting the "Go Live" button above the navigation bar or on your My Page.

6. What other languages are supported on Stickam chat?

Stickam supports Unicode text encoding to use multilingual text.

7. How can I stream video, pictures, or audio from my computer?
A
You can use the Video Mixer in the Live Room to stream videos saved to your profile. There are also many third party camera utilities available for download which will allow you to stream saved media off of your hard drive. Stickam makes no claims as to the compatibility of your system with any of these programs and you should try to find one that works best for you. Here are a few that we recommend trying:

8. Will Stickam allow me to stream audio only (no video)?

9. How do I adjust the settings in my live room?

Click ‘Settings’ on the top left of your live feed to open the Settings menu. From the menu, you can adjust your privacy settings, microphone, instant messages, and video size. For more information click here.
