About Me
BEFORE WE TALK ABOUT ME... Have you died to self & taken up His cross? Have you even counted the cost? Do have a form a godliness & yet deny its power? (Matt 16:24, Luke 14:28, 2 Tim 3:5). The message is clear... We need to hear His voice and stop following our own. Granted its hard and we have a lot to repent of, but its not too late (now is the day of salvation - 2 Cor 6:2). Its not about what you hold dear, but remaining steadfast in Him. Love ya, Steve aka Xtian
Oh yea about me...
I had a varied life so far - good & bad together. Did the military thing & during that time I gained experience with computers, teaching, training and a variety of other things (shooting & blowing stuff up). I am serious about my christian faith. I am married to a wonderful women and we have a teenage daughter that wants to be a doctor. We are all "believers" and are following Christ. We like to fellowship with like minded individuals who hear God and radically follow Him.

Why I am here &/or Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone - saved, or unsaved. If your saved then there is fellowship, encouragement, sharing, learning and sometimes even correction, but its all for the Glory of God! If your unsaved, then I hope I have the opportunity to answer any questions you have about the bible and the "good news". If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. Or even if you just need prayer send me a message. Why? cause its all for the glory of God!
Hobbies:
Listening and following Him! and getting rid of the "red" & "yellow" stuff. If you dont know what that is check out a video called "Get Your Cup SO Full of JESUS that Nothing Else Can Fit!" on here on my stickam videos & on youtube. I also like Christian music, making videos with a christian message to challenge christians and lost alike. Oh yea, and listening to Him.
Favorite Movies:
I like movies based on true life events, epic struggles, few against many, the David and Goliath & action type stuff. Also like clean comedy. Too bad its hard to find clean movies these days.
Favorite TV Shows:
I dont really like TV anymore - its filled with too much yecky stuff. Matter of fact we got rid of our cable service.
Favorite Music:
Christian music (all "christian" but not "all" christian if you know what I mean). I have been recently mellowing out in regards to music - I guess that comes with age... err maturity ;)
Favorite Books:
The Bible, ahhh then there is the the KJV bible, the NASB bible and a handful of other bible translations. I also like "Revolution in World Missions" by KP Yohannan. I want to read "Heavenly Man" & "Back to Jerusalem" by Haddaway & Yun but I dont have them (if your not using yours I would love to borrow em - perhaps we can trade?), and few others, but my favorite is... you guessed it... the bible.
I Love:
God, family, fellow believers and enemies too (tho with family it seems to be more of a challenge than with enemies).
I Hate:
Sin, my flesh, satan (that kind of stuff). I also really dislike steamed silkworms (they taste like bad dirt).

| My name "Steve aka Xtian" and your probably wondering about the "Xtian" part. Before you get mad & email me about how wrong it is to have such a tag that degrades Jesus Christ, let me explain... Lots of people ask "SO WHAT'S UP WITH YOUR NAME... "XTIAN"? Many people have asked about my name "Xtian". "Xtian" is NOT a shorted form of Jesus Christ, who is my God, Lord, Savior, etc. The "X" in latin means 'To delete, cancel, or obliterate' (i.e. kill, crush & crucify). Everything that I am is represented by "tian" which in latin means 'to hold, grasp, have'. Sooo... Its a reminder that I need to keep dying to self (give up everything I hold & have) and follow Him. Its that whole "less of me, more of Him" thing. I hope that clears things up. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EVER WONDER HOW & WHY ITS SO HARD TO HEAR GOD? HAVING PROBLEMS OVERCOMING SIN & YOUR FLESH? Oh yea the book "Revolution In World Missions" is not some stuffy book about far away, boring missionary stuff. Its a hard hitting book that nails the truth of what we as christians are supposed to be doing. This book broke me down so many times. Then I passed it on to my wife & it did the same to her. We did a lot of repenting while reading that book. It hurt, but in a good way. Thanks for the comment, good to be here on stickam. Love ya all, Steve

I love and wholeheartedly support Gospel For Asia and would encourage anyone to get ahold of that book (people can get it free from their website, www.gfa.org) God bless..its always great to see more Christians join stickam (its an answer to prayer too!) :)
