Something You Should Know About Me
My name "Steve aka Xtian" and your probably wondering about the "Xtian" part. Before you get mad & email me about how wrong it is to have such a tag that degrades Jesus Christ, let me explain...
Lots of people ask "SO WHAT'S UP WITH YOUR NAME... "XTIAN"? Many people have asked about my name "Xtian". "Xtian" is NOT a shorted form of Jesus Christ, who is my God, Lord, Savior, etc. The "X" in latin means 'To delete, cancel, or obliterate' (i.e. kill, crush & crucify). Everything that I am is represented by "tian" which in latin means 'to hold, grasp, have'. Sooo... Its a reminder that I need to keep dying to self (give up everything I hold & have) and follow Him. Its that whole "less of me, more of Him" thing. I hope that clears things up.

Oh yea the book "Revolution In World Missions" is not some stuffy book about far away, boring missionary stuff. Its a hard hitting book that nails the truth of what we as christians are supposed to be doing. This book broke me down so many times. Then I passed it on to my wife & it did the same to her.
We did a lot of repenting while reading that book. It hurt, but in a good way.

Hi, welcome to stickam! I took a quick glance and noticed you mentioned "Revolution In World Missions". That is such a life changing book! I love and wholeheartedly support Gospel For Asia and would encourage anyone to get ahold of that book (people can get it free from their website, www.gfa.org) God bless..its always great to see more Christians join stickam (its an answer to prayer too!) :)
