Vampyric Horde is a general chat room. This room may not always be talking about vampyres, or even related stuff. The topics tend to change a lot as people come and go.

The following are the chat room rules. Some of these rules are a joke, some are serious. Use common sense most of all. You may or may not be warned before you are kicked. If you are kicked repeatedly you will be added to our ever growing ban list. We like to keep the chat room clean as we can, to provide an enjoyable experience for all our members.

Due to some recent events regarding guys and girls trying to get nudes, and other illegal things done in our chat room, and I am sure other chat rooms, I am posting the links to information that will settle the truth once and for all. First I will summarize the content of the site links I am posting. The first link http://www.avert.org/age-of-consent.htm is links to the worldwide age of consent laws. This means if you RESIDE in the same location as someone these laws apply. The second link http://www.solresearch.org/~SOLR/rprt/USnatlAoC.asp is about the PROTECT ACT and is the federal law on age of consent. The federal law states that if there is cross border or cross state contact, communication with intent or in some cases even electronic dating, that you MUST be 18 or older for both parties. Here is an exerpt: Cross-border travel for sex. The PROTECT Act, §105(a)(b), establishes an age of consent of 18 for travel into or out of the country or between states for the purpose of a sexual encounter. If a person lives in a state where the age of sexual consent is, for example, 16 and is dating a 16- or 17-year-old in another state where the age of consent is also 16, that would violate this federal law, even though any particular activity the two people may engage in would be legal in both their states. If we discover that anyone in our chat is violating these laws we will have them enforced to the fullest. Vampyric Horde is not a playground for predators. Also falsely accusing anyone for these crimes will just cause more problems as there is a thing called "slander" and "libelous" such as "defamatory, libeling, referring to something that causes harm to someone's reputation especially with malice or disregard; meeting the legal standards for libel". Please remember that Stickam records all audio, video, and text, this includes 1 on 1, group chat, live chat, private message. Admins are able to reference those logs in the event someone makes a claim about things. So if someone from chat does something wrong against you please flag them and use the 'Other' section and fill it out if you need to. That will send a notification to admins to check that sections of video, audio, and text. People are already breaking those rules/laws and are going to be dealt with severly.
On that note there has been talk about people "exposing themselves to minors" in our chat. This has never been the case. But to be sure that does not happen. Try to make sure your webcam is turned off BEFORE you engage in sexual activity with your partner. The chat room age limit might be raised up to 18 and up only soon due to all the he said she said slander going on to discredit us and others.There will be some exceptions to that 18+ rule for people we are very close with.

16. Do not ask for mods! If you ask you most likely will NOT become a mod. Mods will be decided by Summon and Deshi, if you are a nice logical person, and hang out a lot. Mods can be taken as fast as given too. If you abuse your power you will be warned ONCE only.
17. Do not use the term rape. It is not a funny term to brag about or use in general. If you had this problem please contact the police or take it to a private message.
18. If you say stupid shit in the chat room expect to be insulted. Do NOT come running to the mods because someone insults you. Grow the fuck up and take it like an adult instead of crying. If you cannot handle words that people say then you probably do not belong in our chat room, or Stickam for that matter.
19. Do NOT talk shit about other chat rooms in open chat, take it to a PM or just STFU. We did not create this room to be a vent for people pissed off at others.
20. IF YOU WANT TO HANG OUT IN OTHER CHAT ROOMS FEEL FREE TO DO SO. IF YOU WANT TO BE A MOD IN VH YOU MUST SPEND A LOT OF TIME IN THERE. WE FEEL IT IS NOT FAIR TO MOD PEOPLE WHO BARELY SPEND TIME IN THE CHAT ROOM. MODERATION IS A PRIVLEDGE.
