Something You Should Know About Me
Thanks for Stopping by, I am sumodeluxe. I am a musician with a unique story. I have been playing music since I was in the 4th grade. I have played just about every instrument that you could throughout my schooling. I went to performing arts school in middle school and in high school. I have studied all different styles and eras of music. I picked up the bass guitar when I was about 11. I shortly after got an electric guitar, and found it to be my passion. I started playing in bands when I was about 14. I have played all over the northern areas surrounding Ohio. Akron or Akrowdy is my hometown. When I graduated high school my parents forced me to go to college because they wanted me to have “A better life". Which I can’t blame them for wanting something better for me. At the same rate I could have made my own decisions. Regardless I don’t hold it against them. I got a degree and started working for Dell. I soon to find out that no matter what corporate job you have they all suck. I was traveling around with a crew of technicians staying in hotels for weeks at a time replace Dell GX270 mother boards and ghosting hard drives for the most part. I was going to every type of business that you could think of. I was working in school buildings, state offices, and corporate offices of several large companies. After talking to everyone and getting the same about how they hate there job and there life is boring. I decided to go back to my first plan witch was my passion for music. I moved away with the areas best drummer and we began thinking of how to make it in the music industry. After thinking about all the projects we have going on and the knowledge that we had at our disposal we decided to make our own Entertainment Company. We would do it all. Record, promote, host events, and basically everything that a digital media production facility is capable of doing. So there I was. I moved 12 hours from everything I have ever known with 3 of my best friends/very talented musicians and were doing it. We had just finished work on our facility and gathered the last of the missing pieces gear wise. I had contacted the likes of Stickam.com about doing some cross promotion and there I was. A stickam Entertainer.
The Plan!
I work in several studio facilities all over. I get hired to come and write music for lots of different artists. Ill be taking my laptop with me on all my sessions and letting you guys see what it is like to be a studio musician. My life changes so fast! Ill be in Ohio for the next year or so then Im moving to Orlando FL to get my Pro-tools HD certifications. Its going to be a fun ride I hope you all are gonna enjoy!
