ians memorial date has not changed. It's still at the St. Regis Hotel in Dana Point. Nothing has changed. If you've heard otherwise, there was just a communication error but it's been cleared up. I've verified it with his father, Norm. If you'd prefer to hear it from him, you can message his myspace ( /getmypoint) . THIS IS NOT A WAKE. Ian has been cremated. there will be no viewing. I can't emphasize that any more than i have been. His parents have not yet decided if his ashes will be there, but they have told me to make sure everyone knows there will be PLENTY of personal items and things to remember him by at the memorial. The memorial is open to everyone, The location holds 500 people. If you need a ride, please contact me and I can do my best to help you work that out somehow. I've been getting a lot of messages from people concerned that the Phelps family will be picketing at his memorial. This is a very secure, very high profile venue and picketers shouldn't be a concern at all. I honestly don't think the person who has been making threats is even part of that organization so it shouldn't be a concern. Please continue to alert me or his family of anything you hear like that though, even if it seems uncredited. It's best we're prepared. Also, a lot of you have asked me to make a video, let you know what i have to say about all of this.
