Anthony Berte, AKA Tonitz, hails from the Birthplace of House Music, Chicago, IL. Drawing on his experience as a Jazz musician and songwriter, Tonitz takes the approach of a conductor on the decks, taking tracks and attempting to create unique combinations all his own. Playing Genres ranging from Deep House to Funky and even a bit of Tech-House, the common element is always a jackin beat and a prominent melody. He has a very aggressive style of mixing, attacking soulful music with a middle finger in the air.
I am a resident DJ on Faderwave Radio. My weekly show is every Sunday night, 9-11 p.m. CST. Occasionally I will also fill in for other DJs or just spin on Faderwave when there are no other DJs Scheduled. Abd every now and then I can be found in my own room DJing or tormenting my cat. Be sure to tune in to the Faderwave show, as I often have guest DJs in addition to myself, who are some of the best DJs here in Chicago.
