with each breath i take, after thinking of your beautiful face.
realizing what could have been fate.
but in your eyes i was just a disgrace.
and those eyes, were so bright,
like the sun beating down off vast open horizons,
but to you my eyes remain aged, and broken.
like a bitter old mans tearing eyes in his final hours.
and that smile, reflected off the moon, and into the ocean.
as it rests ever so calmly and still, skittering across the surface of a still glassy lake.
as mine remains withered and dry.
like the boiling red sun blazes and beats off the desert sand, dehydrating and decaying its surface.
in the end, you were everything to me.
but i was nothing to you.
i remain paralized without you.
and imobolized to move forward.
as my moon resting in your sky remains dim and dreary, ever so still and weary. resting on a vast open sea, off a broken horizon where our sunset used to be.
