| Foreword - Welcome to where real life vampires relax and chat, there are a few different types of real life vampires, all rather mortal and sometimes as boring as anyone else. One may be a combination of the different types as one may be mulifacited with different parts of their lives. Some may think we shouldn't use the term vampire for ourselves and I've met a few of one type of vampire that believes the other types shouldn't use the term, but until a 400+ year old dead guy tells me different, I think we can label ourselves what we see fit. - Sanguinarian - Blood Vampire - People who enjoy or crave blood, may be a sexual desire or arise for other reasons. They may drink "butcher's" blood, human blood or wild animals possibly. They may drink everyday, rarely or perhaps just during sex they enjoy the taste, feel or sight of blood. They may or may not expirence bloodlust cravings or they may or may not just use for magickal purposes - PSI - Psychic Vampire - People who feed upon energy, whether its another person's life energy ( aura ) or nature's energy. These vampires may or may not have other psychic abilities such as dreamscaping, astral travel, foretelling the future, some mind reading, projecting and many others. They may view their abilities as magick, psychic or from some other point of view. Most people have some of the eighth sence, ever have someone stare at you until you turned around? - Lifestylist - Halloween or Hollywood Vampyre - Most Sangs and PSIs would rather I didnt include this, these are the people who love halloween, enjoy scary movies, and live as if they are vampires. They may live in strangely decorated houses, sleep in coffins and drive hearses. Many Sangs and PSIs do some of these things as do many goths. The problem some PSIs and Sangs have is that Lifestylists use the name without being PSI or Sang, I do NOT have a problem with that and welcome them also to the room as long as they do not become obsessive roleplaying morons. Many PSIs and Sangs use some halloween/hollywood props to help them concentrate. - Thee UnDead - Vampire Folklore and/or Fiction - Anyone claiming to be undead please visit me in real life, if you survive a 7.62 hollowpoint though your head I'll serve you. - Vampire Magick - Combining the Three - What may have existed and what some strive to be, is a Magickian of sorts following a vampiric line to tap into the energy that flows within us and without us. I believe that at one time these magickians were great in their power and are the truth behind the folklore of the vampire. Compare the powers of the fictional vampire to some real life magick. Fictional vampires change into bats, real magick may allow us to astroplane and inhabit an animal's body. Fictional vampires live forever, we can recall past lives. There are many other simularitites, what can you think of? I try to combine the three in my pursuit of being one with the Universe, when I am at peace my aura is transparent and almost clear, at one with nature.
