Meeting people, combating boredom.. something to do when my insomnia is kicking.. Most of my life I've lived on 5 hours or less of sleep a day.
Hobbies:
hiking, camping, guitar, hobby prospecting, reading, some gaming ( in balance) creating something lasting with my hands.

Lord of the Rings (all 3) The Stand, 300, Harry Potter, Patton, Xmen (all 3) FF Rise of the Silver Surfer (though they didn't do the Surfer justice)
Favorite TV Shows:
lost, heros, Learning channel Discovery (when they aren't showing stupid cop shows) -don't watch much TV
Favorite Music:
eclectic mix.. I like a little bit of everything including classical and Celtic, but got nothing for rap and not much for hip hop
Favorite Books:
The Elric Saga (Michael Moorcock) The Stand (Stephen King) The Wheels of Time (Robert Jordan) Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series, Princess Merrideth series (Laurel K. Hamilton) All Tolkein, The Sword Of Truth Series (Terry Goodkind) I also try to read something for learning, not just entertainment about every 3rd book I read.
I Love:
the magic of a woman's eyes in the moonlight.. nature, wild places, a good party, some weed every now and again, the savage joy of victory! Kaplah! (oh.. er, um.. sorry, got carried away there)
I Hate:
bigoted, deliberately ignorant people. Spiders, Ticks & Chiggers.
