As Bryan Adams sang "I got my first real six string"....Dad bought it at a pawn shop in the 60's following the invasion of the Beatles and my desire to play guitar like them. I taught myself basic chords. In 1975 I bought a 12 string Yamaha because I like the way it sounded. I played for the Girl Scouts and my kids singing folk songs to them and Beatle songs. Both of my children love music and I provided them both with music lessons. Heather became a music educator and longs to play on Broadway in musicals. My son plays guitar as well and it thrilled me to see he and his stepfather go to concerts together and enjoy the same bands, especially the Who. Music has brought me together with so many wonderful people with the same interest. Life is good.
