I just graduated this May of 2007 from York College of Pennsylvania with a history degree, and I graduated long ago from Dartmouth College with a degree in government. I've served in the Navy all over the world, and I've been an estates and trusts attorney for many years. Now retired, I enjoy being a social studies substitute teacher. I live in the York, PA area but have been fortunate enough to have travelled quite a bit.

sailing, jeeps, computers, digital photography, web page design, reading, local and American history. I'm open to finding new ones.

Lions for Lambs, Sand Pebbles, To Kill a Mockingbird, and most of the classics.

I don't watch much TV, but when I do, it's usually the History Channel, PBS, Nova, Discovery Channel, or (blush) Law & Order SVU.

Folk, oldies, classical, country
Favorite Books:
I love books and have the start of a great library. I especially enjoy books related to history and the sea.
I Love:
sunrises over the water, mountaintops, simplicity, and good friends. I especially love open-ocean sailing.
I Hate:
... let me see ... no, I don't think I hate anyone. There are some people I feel sorry for, and some people I wish would act with more love and toleration for others, but no, I don't think I actually HATE anybody.
