the way i see it, there is a flame that flickers within us but you can never see it directly. instead, its glow is cast out into the world through a screen that is clear for some and more distorted for others. shadows and light dance across the surface of this screen and form the images and impressions that make up who we are and how we are perceived to be. it's a simple thing, really, and if you want to see more clearly through my screen all you need to do is brighten my flame. i will adore you if you do and most likely ignore you if you dont. either way, don't ever forget that your flame and mine came from the same primordial spark. peace
